About the Club
The Highland 4 Wheel Drive Club runs a number of Cross Country Vehicle Trials & Off-road events within the Scottish Highlands.
The club welcomes all types of 4x4, popular vehicles include Land Rovers, Jeeps, Suzukis and more unusual military 4x4s.
Events are open to club members and are divided into different classes depending on vehicle wheelbase and modifications.
Trials are run under the regulations of the RAC Motor Sports Association.
The club also hosts events that are open to the public. These include charity runs etc

Cross Country Vehicle Trials are held on private land. Each section consists of 8 gates (pairs of canes) Sections have a variety of obstacles and terrain to test the drivers skills and vehicle control. We try to have 8 sections in each trial.
Each vehicle will, in turn, attampt to complete each section without incurring any points, as listed below.
